“The price quality is not very adequate. The restaurant is not cheap therefore they should use better ingredients. The carbonara was very heavy, we thought it was going to be the authentic one but we got the English version with heavy cream. Very friendly staff we left tip simply because of the service provided. But food was average.”

“I was impressed by the excellent quality of the food prepared by chefs Pedro, Dante, and Nico "the American," the owner of LA CASA. I was also impressed by the friendship of all of them, especially the owner's wife and children. What I miss is not washing dishes, but the friendship I didn't have for 21 years, since I left Portugal permanently in 2002. I don't think anyone will find a better Italian restaurant in the UK. What wonderful people I had the honor of meeting and working with. It's definitely worth spending money in this beautiful restaurant with wonderful people. “Perfect food, perfect setting and perfect service. Will definitely be going again. Recently went to La Casa again and it was fantastic. Sit outside on the terrace with a glass of Rose and the Carbonara and you could be in Italy. If you haven't been, go, if you have, go again! Perfect.”

“Had a nice dinner here recently. Being midweek it was fairly quiet but still had quite a few people in so didn’t feel dead. The food was generally good, though the deserts were heavy on cream/sauce which was a bit too rich. One of the waiters kept trying to make jokes which was irritating by the end, but the other was friendly and professional. The bill was £35 each for shared starters/deserts, a pasta or pizza main and a soft drink which I feel is steep. We had a good time and empty plates can’t be wrong, so I’d be happy go back but might look around elsewhere first.”

“Thought it would be posh and stuffy but very relaxed yet with a touch of specialness due to the lovely service. Hearty portions not for the faint hearted! The calzone could have fed 2! The Seabass special was a delight. All in all good value with a mom and pop Italian feel. Would come back in a heartbeat.”
